It appears to the king a car, as luxurious as his way of life, as magnificent as his castles,
as opulent as everything around him. With the untamed power of 325 american horses, this
truely royal vehicle is supposed to take him around in his beloved Bavaria.However, Ludwig II. soon has to admit to himself that this car was only one of his frequent
daydreams. There were already enough people trying to declare him insane for his
extraordinary attitude. Therefore, the king keeps his vision a secret. He continues to travel
in beautiful, but under-motorized carriages, in funny-looking horse-drawn sleighs and
stupid, swan-shaped boats. And has only one thing on his mind: His pink dream car.Heart and soul are in despair, life seems less and less worth living. Until on June 13th, 1886,
not even two years after the vision appeared to him, the king puts an end to his suffering
and disappears in lake Starnberg.

70 years later, Detroit, Michigan, USA: Harley Earl, chief designer at General Motors,
has a vision when planning the 59 Cadillac. Not yet does he expect this model to become
the peak of his career and of automobile history as such. King Ludwigs dream has finally
come to reality. Another 40 years pass, until in the little frankonian town of Feuchtwangen,
up north in the former kingdom of Bavaria, another dream comes true: The one of Wolfgang
Grebenhof and his 59 Cadillac...
