Hi, my name is Anke Elter. I was born in 1966, and I live in Berlin, Germany. I work as an information scientist in a company for building of residential units.

I was just a little girl at age seven, when I became a big fan of figure skating. I watched many figure skating competitions on TV and I was enthusiastic to see so great skaters such as Christine Errath, Jan Hoffmann, Jelena Voderessova and of course Katarina Witt. My favorite skaters (beside K & D) are Scott Hamilton, Brian Orser, Marina Klimova & Sergei Ponomarenko,  Ekaterina Gordeeva & Sergei Grinkov, Kristi Yamaguchi, Oksana Baiul, Kurt Browning and our great German skaters Mandy Wötzel & Ingo Steuer, Kati Winkler & Rene Lohse.

I am a very big fan of Oksana Kazakova & Artur Dmitriev since I first saw them at the 1996 European Championships. I especially love their wonderful passionate and emotional style of skating, with so much grace and artistic.

I was inspired to dedicate a homepage for this wonderful Russian pair by visiting the web pages of Marianne Merola and Kate Speers.

Any feedback and comments on my page are always welcome. You can sign my guestbook or send me e-Mail.

I'm married since 1988. The name of my husband is Frank. He's a computer technician.
Frank is not a really big fan of figure skating competitions, because he can't bear it, that the judges are always unfair to somebody, but he likes watching the exhibition shows on TV. He likes my favorite skaters Oksana and Artur, too, furthermore he likes the German pair Mandy Wötzel & Ingo Steuer. That's why he created a fan page for Mandy & Ingo.
