ANTI-HoM MTM2 BACKDROP BINS FOR TRACK AUTHORS

*** Build your tracks Hall of Mirrors safe! ***

These are the backdrop .BIN models I have used to create the BACKFIX2.POD below. If you use them instead of the original backdrops in your own track, it will not suffer from the Hall of Mirrors effect, even if the player does not have BACKFIX2.POD installed!

Fix for MTM 2 Hall Of Mirrors Effect: BACKFIX2.POD V2.0

VERSION 2.0 with improved fixes!

This POD file fixes the so called "Hall of Mirrors" effect that some people with 3d-accellerator-cards experience when a track has very steep slopes or high drops.

Download it now! (about 10 kByte)

MTM1 Cockpit in maple wood design V1.1

This nice and uncluttered maple wood cockpit is not based on the original MTM dashboard, but was made from scratch. It is an experimental cockpit that is far from perfect, but still looks good enough to be released.

Fix for MTM1 Hall Of Mirrors Effect: BACKFIX.POD V1.0

These backdrops fix the so called "hall of mirrors" effect that some people with 3d-accellerator-cards experience when a track has very steep slopes or high drops.

Modified MTM truck cockpit V1.0

Get rid of the roof support beams, raise the roof, lower the dashboard, and get a much better look at the race track.

Checkpoint banner w/o number

If you need more than eight checkpoints for your track, and don't want to use duplicate checkpoint numbers (MTM offers only the numbers 1 to 7 plus the invisible ckbox), ckban is the thing for you. It is a standard MTM checkpoint banner, but there is no number on it.

MTM1 texture palettes METALCR2, DRAG, CIRCUIT and RALLY in Paint Shop Pro format

To create custom textures with Paint Shop Pro you will need the MTM color palette. The palette files in the ART directory are all in Adobe Photoshop format, but I converted the one that is necessary to the JASC-PAL format used by Paint Shop Pro.

With TrackEd 1.1 came three palette files for creating the track logo screens. They, too, were in Adobe Photoshop format. I've converted them as well and put them into the ZIP file.
