Links and the 'Without Whom -Division'
Links:
Firstly, if you are fed up with surfing through my pages you will find here
some very interesting links to some other great websites circling around the Seekers and
their music. All these pages happen to be designed, run and made up by members of our
Seekers Cyber Chat Group.
Patrick Jarvis from England
designed, according to my knowledge the first web site ever about the Seekers and their
musis. Despite being the oldie, this page is still worth a visit.
http://www.pjervis.freeserve.co.uk
Richard Saunders, another
Englishman, is one of the lucky guys, who met the Seekers personally and his Seekers
collection contains a lot of rarities in records, photos and clips. On his web page he is
trying to share some of these things with us and even some sound and video clips are to be
found.
No doubt to say, that his homepage is always the most up-to-date one concerning news about
the Seekers.
http://www.telinco.com/seekers
The web site by Richard Veit from Texas is the first place in the internet world
designed by somebody from North America. In a decent an functional design it deals
with all the lyrics of the songs of the Seekers in great detail:
http://www.baylor.edu/~Richard_Veit
Our 'Northern Light' Matti Kumpalainen
is from Finland. Although this website is mainly in Finnish language, it is really
worth a visit, with it very systematical layout and of pictures and infos about our 'Fab
Four' and other musically related singers / musicians:
http://www.netti.fi/~matkum/
Our 'viking' Jens Koch is
from Denmark. Being a hobby musician himself, his homepage about the Seekers puts priority
to lyrics and chords of many of their songs. Since these things were not easy to find for
many years, his homepage is a goldmine for all 'wannabes' in singing and playing Seekers
songs.

David Smith, last but not least
this is also from England and obviously a great follower of Judith and the Seekers. The
private scrap book is of special interest on his website.

The 'Without-Whom-Division'
The biggest Thank you goes to the Seekers themselves, because without them there would be no reason for this website.
The second biggest thank yous go to Graham Simpson, the author of the book 'Colours of my life' for his
friendly and supporting relation with the SURFIN' SEEKERS, and to all the members our
SEEKERS CYBER CHAT GROUP, making it so interesting and enjoyable being a member in this
group.
Another big and very very special thank you goes to my wife Bärbel for her understanding, when spending often quite a lot of time in front of the computer..
Then there is the invaluable help of my son Lars, who supported me through all the ups and downs in the sometimes tricky use of computer programmes. He was also the one who helped immensely in working out the guitar chords for many of my most favoured Seekers songs.
There is also my daughter Larissa, who just understands that her dad is sometimes crazy about this 'old folkie music' and 'his' chat group. She joined me in a meeting with other group members in London in December 1999.
Then there are some members in the mailing list with whom I share a special relation (behind the chat group) and they became part of my 'PFNP-programme'. I don't want to name them here, they know, who is meant.

egal remark: This
page is dedicated to the life and music of the Seekers. It is made because of sheer love
and pure enthusiasm about their work, which is the 'solid ground' for the activities of
the mailing list SURFIN' SEEKERS. There are no commercial interest followed with these
pages.
For all the pictures, lyrics and song titles used I had to refer to material already used
and published at other places by other people and media. Hopefully nobody sees its use as
an infringement to their copy rights. But if so, please let me know and I will change it
immediately.
