In December 2000 I graduated from the University of Technology Aachen where I studied mechanical engineering majoring in aerospace engineering with emphasis on space sience. I am now working with the Terma GmbH as a contractor for the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) in Darmstadt, Germany. As a member of the ESOC flight dynamics department I am currently developing software for spacecraft simulators which are to support various upcoming space flight missions. Among them is Rosetta, a space craft supposed to rendezvous with comet Wirtanen in somewhat 2011.

My home town is Münster in northern Germany, which is located about three hours north of Darmstadt. I lived in Münster with my parents and my sister until I was twenty.  During my studies I shared a flat (Wohnheim Kastanienweg) with three other guys (Igor, Michael, Thilo) for some four years. After another eight months working in Bremen for my master thesis at the Astrium company, I finally made it down here to Darmstadt.
