March 25 2002 : Westside-MP3 online
We decided to put one of the songs from our upcoming Farewell-CD on the web. We call it 'Tribute To The Westside' and guess what, we wrote it in dedication to all our friends and all the kids that supported us during the last 3 years. So please download it here (right-click and "Save target as..."), have a look at the lyrics (you can find them also in the lyrics-section) and scream along on our last show on April 6. It's our thankyou for all of you! Thank You!
March 02 2002 : Farewell-show & final recordings
ItŽs about time to announce the last two SHERIDAN shows ever. For a last time weŽll share the stage with our brothers from ForTheDay on March, 09. in Brunssum (NL). The official farewell-show will take place in Eupen (BEL) on April, 06. Take a look at the shows section for further details. WeŽd be very happy to see as many of our friends as possible on that date to dance and singalong with us for a last time!

ThereŽs some more news to mention: weŽll hit the studio again next weekend to do some final recodings which we want to be released at the show in Eupen, maybe even earlier! The record will contain all the songs that have not been released on our demo-CD. There will only be a very limited amount of copies, so you have to show up at our last show to get your hands on this piece of hard-rocking music! Drop us a line if youŽd like to purchase the record even if youŽre not able to join the farewell-party in Eupen! More info to come soon!
January 24 2002 : SHERIDAN split up - official statement
About two months ago, Marc told us that he will leave the band this summer due to serious time problems which result from his work on different shifts and his other activities in politics and with his other band "ForTheDay". We tried to catch a new singer who might fit in our group of friends and might be able to do the job as good as Marc did and still does. As you all know, Aachen is not the place where hardcore was born... We have a very active but small scene! Therefore we did not find someone who seemed to take over Marcs place. It was very frustrating for everyone in the band to feel that there is no progress after all those effords we made and after all that we have reached with SHERIDAN. At least there was not enough power and will to keep things running. There have been some changes in the line-up within the last three years and we always had to invest lots of time and power to move forward with the new band-members. This time we felt that there is not enough spirit left....

We all feel very sad to leave those things behind! SHERIDAN meant a lot to everyone of us and weŽll always remember those awesome times that we had!

We split up as real good friends and with the consciousness that thereŽs this part of our life that we wonŽt ever forget!

Thanks to all our friends and families, to all the people we met throughout the years and became friends with. Thanks to all the bands we ever played with and to everyone who showed up at the gigs, talked to us, cared about us, our music and what we are about! Big thanks to the whole WESTSIDE - our family - and to those great guys from RockstarRec. and BeniihanaRec. who made plans with us! Thanks to everyone we forgot!

Take care! Love!
SHERIDAN, Jan. 2002
January 17 2002 : Tripod sucks
Sorry to everyone who tried to take a look at this site during the last three weeks. We're currently trying to find another webhoster that's not supposed to let the page down for such a long time without giving us any reasonable accusations.
December 13 2001 : Tour Photos online
Finally I've managed to upload some pictures taken on our Tour in the summer of 2001. Take a look at the gallery.
November 18 2001 : Bullets Over Borderland
The Sheridan Birthday Party was lots of fun, even though we weren't quite content with the performance Sheridan was showing that night. Somehow the worm was in it (hehe), so we were glad that we got the chance to play in front of a Rockcity-crowd only a month later, when we played together with Eupen Superstars Foundation and dEFdUmP from Luxemburg in the AZ again. I guess we did a way better job there and so the audience did and I'm sure it was a funny evening for everybody. The next show will be in three weeks when we will go all the way to Würselen to play a show with Mindgrab, Army Of Darkness and some other bands. Hope to see some Rockcity kids there to help saving the scene from the forces of evil. Just kidding.
BTW we have some new button designs and perhaps I should also announce that we are considering plans to maybe start working towards the next Sheridan record, which might be a 10" released by Rockstar Records and Beniihana Records but no way before summer 2002.
Meanwhile the first compilation featuring a song by Sheridan has been released: the "Bullets Over Borderland"-Sampler. It's a must-have for every Punkrock and Hardcore Kid in and around Aachen, so read more about it here.
And now for something completely different: the message board. Even though it seems that hardly anyone on this planet needs a Sheridan Messageboard I guess we should try to do another effort to make it more popular, so I'll tell the Sheridan boys to place an entry there whenever there is something to discuss about. And maybe you guys should take a look in there more often to see what's going on.
September 6 2001 : Sheridan Birthday Party
All Sheridan-boys (except Thomas) together with Joe Eaves are going to celebrate their birthdays in September with a roaring rock show on September 22nd. Oldschool superheros Force Of Change will support Sheridan and Eaves on that night plus it will be the first live appearance of the rumorous Souflaki Boys. Afterwards there will be a lot more Party going on with various DJs, so don't miss it. Last year's party with For The Day, Sheridan and Graf Zahl was a blast and I can see no reason why the next one shouldn't be even better.
[BTW: There's a new review of our demo cd online. Read it here.]
August 27 2001 : Newsletter
If you'd like to be informed about anything that's happening concerning Sheridan (news, shows, ...) perhaps you may want to sign up to our new mailinglist. Every once in a while you will then recieve a nice little news-emailing in your inbox. Use the subscribe form on the right or if it doesn't work write a short mail to sheridanhc@gmx.de. Thanks for your interest.
August 22 2001 : Messageboard
Finally Marc's Dream has become reality: The Sheridan Website has its own Messageboard. I guess the next weeks will show if we really need something like this. If noone signs up it will be removed, so feel free to discuss anything you like there.
August 20 2001 : Photos wanted!
Hello everybody. We're back from our 16 days tour across Germany. These have been two awesome weeks which none of us will ever forget. I wish we would leave for another two weeks tomorrow. Thanks to all the nice people we met, the promoters, all the other great bands and of course everyone who showed up at one of the shows. We took loads of pictures on tour and we even wrote some kind of "tour diary"... maybe in some weeks you'll be able to take a look at that stuff in a sheridan tour special on this website. Until then we're of course looking for all kind of photos from our shows. So, please, if anyone took some Sheridan photos: send them to me. Thanks to Stefan from Berlin for being the first to do so. I used his photos from our Show at the Wild At Heart to decorate the Site. Besides from that I've done some small updates regarding the merchandise section where now you can take a look at the Sheridan T-Shirts which are almost sold out by now. So be quick to contact us to get one of the last ones left.
July 27 2001 : Tour begins in 10h
Okay, I'm tired because it's 3:28am and tomorrow will be the long awaited first day of Sheridan's first tour across Germany. But before we're heading for Mainz we'd once again like to thank everyone who helped us out with shows. I'm sure we'll have a great time during the next two weeks and maybe some of you reading this are going to see us play live somewhere. Or maybe you actually have just seen us play, then it would be really nice if you give us some feedback by signing our guestbook or by dropping us a mail.
I gotta go to bed now, because the brand new Sheridan-T-shirts will arrive early in the morning, so I only have a few more hours of sleep left. I hope the shirts will look as good as I expect them to... then I'm sure you'll love them, too.
