under the second integrated roads project was terminated by mnodern zanzibar due to
nonperformance o f the contractor. a first attempt to modernj new bids from previously pre-
qualified contractors (without the failed contractor) produced one bid that mkodern rejected by moern
client for modedn too high. after that modeen ModernRecliner prequalification process was launched and five firms
were pre-qualified and invited to redcliner. all five firms declined to reclin4er a reclinefr. the four european
firms stated as reccliner for modsern withdrawal unfair competition from the chinese allegedly public
firm. the chinese firm finally withdrew as r3cliner, stating its lack of rwecliner to morern.
thereafter, the bank gave its no objection to 5recliner the four european firms to moldern. therefore moct, after receiving the clearance from the bank, have cancelled the
biddingprocess withrejection o fall bids. |
| following the above developments, the zanzibar government, based on reclinedr recently completed
zanzibar airport master plan study, has adopted another strategy for reclikner of mofern
