Update-log (Version 1.3.1):

- There was a huge bug in the soldier tokens - the values were computed wrong. This resulted in wrong values of the battle strength

Update-log (Version 1.3):

Andrea Chiarvesio, one of the designers of Kingsburg, gave me the permission to include a second "Expansion Preview" into my Java-Kingsburg. If you check the variant-options of my new version 1.3 BETA, you can now choose if you want to use the original 5 rows of the building sheet, or an extended building sheet with 2 brand new rows!
-I implemented the buildings with the functions and english texts the designer sent me, but I did not receive the official images, so the extended building sheet is selfmade by me, without the correct fonts or pictures. And without great photoshop skills, I have to add...
-The extended building sheet and all texts that were included with the new buildings are in german and english ONLY (german translation was done by me, too), so if you select another language and use all 7 rows, these parts of the program will suddenly be english.
-The A.I. is propably worse than ever, as I had to change their internal structure and was not able to make them very good yet.
-If you use both Expansion Previews, one of the new buildings works differently than printed on the sheet. I did not state this in the program as it would normally be written in the manual. Here is the additional rule: "PLEASE NOTE: Military Academy and Soldier Tokens If you’re playing with expansion sets #1 and #5, roll a d3 (d6/2) for the Military Academy (roll the dice after choosing the Soldier Token)"

Update-log (Version 1.2.2):

- Small bugfixes
- The option "Disable graphic effects" should now work corretly
- New statistics at the end of the game

Update-log (Version 1.2.1):

- New toolkit: One file for all platforms, should open with simple doubleclick on all platforms now!
- Also slightly different look of the windows and buttons
- Graphics 2.0: Lots and lots of shiny particle effects! If problems occur, you can turn them off in the options menu
- New language: Italian! Thanks to Andrea!
- Many small fixed. Many thanks to caffeinhead
- small adjustment of the A.I.

Information:

To start the game, you need the Java Runtime Environment from SUN on your system:

http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

Then it SHOULD start by just double-clicking on the jar-file.

-You can select english, hungarian, german or hessian texts at start. My english is not perfect, so feel free to send me corrections

-The game requires a minimum screen resolution of 1024 * 768. If you have a screen height over 900 (for example 1680 * 1050), then some windows will be bigger and a bit better readable

-One small rule-thing: When all dice are the same, and you choose to use the statue to reroll one die, the first colored die is rerolled automatically. I do not know if one would choose to reroll a white die in such a case... but the option to do so should be implemented. :-(

-The A.I.-opponents are weak. Ok, the "RanDumm A.I." opponent is dumb as mud, as he decides completely random without ANY plan. It was my first A.I.-"framework". The normal A.I. chooses one strategy (more or less: Cathedral, Farm, Military or Embassy) and has some rules for better decisions, but is still weak. :-(

PLEASE send me any comments, suggestions or any other idea you might have while playing my game! I am thankful for every constructive response. Thanks in advance!

Special Thanks to:
