Keep Some Quick Meal Ingredients Handy For When Time Is Short.

All right I admit I don t always like to cook, especially when time is short and we have run behind because of what seems like endless errands and such. While it would be much easier to just run through a drive thru on occasions like this, I hate doing that especially when it comes to supper. What I have done is to keep on hand the ingredients for 3 or 4 meals that I can whip up in a short amount of time, without having to run to the grocery store. Depending on the tastes and size of your family you may have other ideas for quick meals but these are mine. I make my own noodles, they are super easy and they freeze well. I often triple the batch when I am making them, since I am going to have noodles drying out on my table anyway I might as well do a bunch at once and throw a few bags in the freezer. When I boil a chicken it is just as easy to get a big pot out and do two or three and freeze some of it. You can even freeze the...

How Smoking Can Affect Your Sex Life

Contrary to what most movies portray that smoking may enhance your sex life, smoking actually deprives it. Smokers have more coronary artery blockage compared to non smokers. Because erections are mainly due to the blood flowing into the penis through arteries, artery blockage actually deprives erection and therefore affecting a smoker s sex life. Nicotine actually also restricts blood flow. It has also been studied that long term use of nicotine can permanently damage the arteries. Since a man s erection depends on blood flow, smoking can cause softer erection even with just 2 cigarettes. As for women, during sexual arousal, the clitoris and vagina will swell up with blood circulation, similar to the erection of a man s penis. As mention, since nicotine restricts blood flow, it may also negatively affect a sex sensation towards a woman. A British Medical Association report which is titled Smoking and Reproductive Life actually...

Asbestos Testing- Necessary Protection Against Killer Diseases

Asbestos testing is the method to determine the presence of asbestos in the industrial processes, residential buildings and objects. Asbestos had been commonly used as construction materials in buildings till few years back. A mineral compound, asbestos is the common name for a group of six naturally occurring fibrous minerals found in certain rock formations. During mining and processing, asbestos produces very thin and light fibers that are easily released into the air. Once released into the air, the asbestos particles can remain suspended for a long time. These fibers are invisible to human eyes and when inhaled can cause serious health problems including lung cancer. This is the reason why asbestos testing is a necessary safeguard for people handling and working with asbestos materials. People who are handling asbestos or products containing asbestos, including those involved in mining, producing or processing asbestos are...

Protecting Those Back To School Smiles

Just a reminder for students and parents that part of any back to school supply list should be a mouthguard for any child playing contact sports such as football, basketball, wrestling, soccer or any sport that poses a risk of injury to a child s smile. A mouthguard is as essential as a helmet or padding for school sports. Bruises and bones can heal, but teeth cannot be replaced without a lot of cost and pain to the patient and the parents. Mouthguards are also helpful in preventing concussion as they absorb about 50 of the force from jaw related impacts, thus reducing the amount of trauma to the brain. There are three types of mouth guards: the regular store bought mouth guard, the boil and bite mouthguard, and custom made mouthguards fitted by your dentist. A custom fitted mouthguard will provide the most comfortable fit and a dentist can make any alterations if needed. A mouthguard fitted by your dentist can also be customized...
