After Greenhoff had seized upon Tommy Smith's mistake, Lou Macari's goal-bound shot took a telling deflection past a stranded Ray Clemence, to make it 2-1 and advantage United. Liverpool fought hard to equalise, and Ray Kennedy rattled the bar in the closing stages, but it was United's day as they avenged the heartache suffered 12 months earlier and denied their Northwest rivals of the much-coveted treble. Featuring the post-match interviews as they happened on the day - this is a true collectors item.
